About Us
The Face of Henley Charity was set up in 2002 to raise money for those suffering or experiencing tragedy within the Henley-on-Thames area. The Registered Charity Number is 1093521.
Most of the donations raised benefit local individuals and causes who are not identified by the larger Charities. Some examples are:
- People who need equipment (e.g Wheelchairs) to enhance their daily lives.
- Providing financial support to those experiencing tragedy or hard times within the Henley community.
The Face of Henley Charity is well supported by local businesses and the Trustees and Organising Commitee of ‘The Face of Henley’ are:
- Toby Greenwood, Senior Partner of Cooper Son & Caldecott Solicitors. He assists the Organising Committee with fundraising events.
- Richard Reed of The Henley Standard who provides ongoing promotional assistance in the Henley Standard.
- Jane Moss, Trustee has experience in the Advertising / Marketing Industries in both Australia and the UK.
- Sarah Flindall, Trustee and Chief Executive of Ardmore Language Schools based in Burchetts Green, Nr Maidenhead. In addition, Sarah has a company called Admin Experts which provides administrative support to small businesses and private individuals through Admin Experts.
