2007 Sponsorship

In 2007, the Ladies captain of The Henley Golf Club, Gail Henderson, chose the Face of Henley as their Charity to support throughout the year.

Various fundraising events were held and a total of £5,490 was donated in December 2007 to the Charity.

Mrs Henderson said, "We chose the Face of Henley to support during 2007 because it is a local charity that helps local people".

Jane Moss said, "A huge thank you to Gail Henderson and all the members at the Henley Golf Club. The amount of money raised is absolutely fabulous - more than we could ever dreamt of and it is going to help us help so many local people in Henley and its surrounding villages over the next 12 months."

Recent Event

The Face of Henley Charity organised a fabulous Ladies Doubles Tennis Challenge at the Peppard Tennis Club in June.

The sun beamed down and a wonderful sum of £1,400 was raised for the Charity. Over 50 ladies took part, with Surita Demulder and Hayley Underwood emerging as the winners and Jenny Markham and Janet Lambert claiming second place. The winners of the 'beginners' group were Martine Keenan and Bee Searle. All the ladies who took part thoroughly enjoyed themselves and many walked away with a wonderful raffle prize.
