Providing financial support for those experiencing tragedy or hardship within the Henley Community

Ladies Doubles Tennis Tournament

A Ladies Doubles tennis tournament was held on Thursday 19th May at the Peppard Tennis Club.

Following a morning of rain the matches were able to get underway after lunch. Forty ladies took part and Janet Bishop and Valerie Esher eventually came out as out first ‘Face of Henley’ Tennis Champions.

The day raised £388, meaning that after six months of hard work we are now in a position to buy the much needed shower trolley for The Chiltern Centre for Disabled Children and also help furnish a Communal Room at a residential unit for mental health sufferers in Henley.

The Charity would sincerely like to thank all those who took part in the day. A huge thank you also to the Peppard Tennis Club for the use of their wonderful facilities and to Gary Collyer and his team at Waitrose, who donated all the food and drinks and continue to support our causes.
